Who we are

We created TeenWell because so many parents reach the tween and early teen years feeling blindsided.

One minute your child still feels little; the next, they are moodier, more private, more tired, more reactive, more screen-focused, or suddenly harder to reach. It can feel confusing, worrying and lonely, especially when you are told it is “just hormones” but instinctively feel there is more going on.

We are two practitioners with a shared interest in helping families understand what is happening beneath the surface during early adolescence. Through a practical, evidence-informed lens, we look at the teenage brain, hormones, sleep, nutrition, blood sugar, gut health, screens, stress and emotional regulation — and how these pieces connect.

TeenWell is here to help parents feel calmer, clearer and better equipped. Not with judgement, overwhelm or impossible routines, but with simple explanations, realistic tools and compassionate support for modern family life.
